Is there a Windows 1Password app talking Swedish?
I downloaded the 1Password Windows App on a PC. I don't think I missed a language choice. And I don't find an option to select language inside the app.
My Mac App is all in Swedish!

We do apologize but there is no translation support for 1Password 6 at the moment, it is something we will add in a future update.
If you're not using 1Password.com service, please switch back to 1Password 4 instead, which does support Swedish. 1Password 6 is not an upgrade to 1Password 4, it is meant for 1Password.com users for the moment. We will keep adding more features to 1Password 6, so that it will become an upgrade to existing 1Password 4 users with complete local vault support, which is read-only at the moment in 1Password 6.

My 1Password 6.5.2 for Mac is mostly (not all) in Swedish. Not categories, but all labels, all preferences / options ... are in Swedish.
But not my wife's PC version. Nothing is Swedish there.
I don't want her to go back to 1Password 4. Can it even be used on a PC with a family account?
I am really sorry I went to 1Password account. I did so for my wife to start using it. But I have enough problems to introduce her with the application without forcing her to learn it in English.
What do you suggest?0 -
@ErikNo: If localization is needed, using 1Password 4 will be best. 1Password 4 cannot use 1Password Accounts, but we'll be happy to provide you with a license for it as part of your subscription if you want to go that route. Just shoot us an email at
support@1password.comand we'll take care of you.The new 1Password 6 Windows desktop app does not yet have any localizations, as we're focused on building it currently. Once things are more finalized we'll be able to localize it more quickly. Obviously this doesn't affect you, but one of the many reasons we're building it from scratch is because technical limitations in 1Password 4 prevented us from supporting many languages, such as Chinese.
Also, the 1Password subscription service actually handles a lot of the data which is part of your account, which is why you see a lot of things in English on your Mac even though the app itself is localized. That's something we need to address as well.
I'm really sorry that I don't have a better answer for you now, but it's very much something we're working toward. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I hear you. I really enjoy the benefits of my 1Password Account too. I'm sorry that we don't have a localization to offer you for the new app or web interface yet, but we're working hard to get to a place where we can make that happen. Thanks for your patience and understanding. :blush:

@mbrustad: Not yet in this case, but barring unforeseen circumstances we'll continue to use Crowdin for 1Password localization. I wish that it was ready for you to contribute, but I really appreciate your interest. We'd love to have you when the time comes! :chuffed:
