turn off autofill
I want to stop auto-fill for one particular login. The check box for it is already cleared, but clicking on the URL in 1PW takes me to the site and auto-fills (incorrectly) the user ID and password.

Hi @batbluerat,
Thanks for writing in.
If you press and hold the
Control
key when you double click on the Login item in the main 1Password program, it will bypass the filling for you. There isn't a way to turn off auto-fill completely for just one item, beside this shortcut. You can disable auto-submit for the site if you want. To do this, edit the said item in the main 1Password program and in the Submit option, select Never, save it.
Is there something specific wrong with the way 1Password fills on this site?

Thanks for your reply and the info! The problem, I'm guessing, is at least partially with the web site. It's "special". It has 3 entry fields for login, including an "Instance" field between username and password. 1PW skips the first field, Username, and fills username and password in Instance and Password.

Hey @batbluerat, thanks for the added detai :).
Sorry for the trouble with that. Is this a public website you're trying to fill? Can you give me the url to it?
I can have a chat with my colleagues on the extension team and find out if we can improve the filling logic for that site.
