End of Trial, where to put in the licence key?
Hello,
first of all sorry for my bad English, I am coming from Germany.
I am using 1Password for iOS on my iPhone and iPad and also the 1Password 6 app for Windows 10.
Everything is working fine, I am very happy, but now the trial is ending in 4 days. So I bought the license key for the Win + iOS bundle.
Now I don´t kinow where to fill in the key in the windows app. Could you please help me?
Thanks a lot.

Hey @Setarkos, thanks for writing in :).
To fill the license key in, open 1Password 4, and choose Help > Enter License Key, and enter the license key from the email.

Hey @mohamedosman, it is me again.
Now I installed version 4 on my computer.
How can I import all data from 1Password 6? Is it true that 1password 6 don´t save the data locally? I can´t find such a file.
I hope I dont have to fill in all data again?Or should I only fill in the license key and use 1password 6 in the future?
Thank you in advance.

Hey @Setarkos,
Is it true that 1password 6 don´t save the data locally? I can´t find such a file.
This isn't true. We store your data locally in two database files. You can find by opening a new file explorer window and entering
%LOCALAPPDATA%/1password/data
in the address bar.How can I import all data from 1Password 6?
To import your 1Password 6 data into 1Password 4:
- Select the items you want to export. Select multiple items by holding down the Ctrl key when clicking on them. Select all of the items by pressing Ctrl+A after clicking one of the items in the list.
- Click (Settings) > Export.
- Choose CSV
- Enter a file name and click Save.
Next, open 1Password 4 and go to "File > Import" and select the file you exported from 1Password 6. You will need to do some configuration during the import process to ensure the 1Password correctly selects the columns.
Please let us know if you run into any trouble along the way.

Hey @mohamedosman,
first of all thank you very much for the support.
I have a last question: do I have to use 1Password 4, or is it enough to fill in the licence key into this version and use 1Password 6 in the future? For me Version 6 in combination with iOS is just right.Thx again!

@Setarkos: 1Password 6 does not support local vaults yet, so you'll need to use 1Password 4 unless you need to access the 1Password.com subscription service. However, you may want to consider a 1Password subscription, since it will give you access to all of the apps, the web interface, and does away with license management and sync configuration altogether — you simply login to your account to authorize a device and access your data:
1Password.com
If you decide you'd prefer that, we can offer you a credit. Otherwise, you're all set with 1Password 4. Cheers! :)

@brenty: thank you for this information. Yes I want to use 1Password 6 and the iOS-App only, NOT 1Password 4.
So what is the next step for me? If I understand you in the right way, the license key I bought a few days before, will not cover this, right?
What do you mean with "offer you a credit"?Thank you!
P.S.: again, I am very happy with the support!

@Setarkos: I'm glad to hear it, and even happier to help! And that is correct: a license does not apply to the subscription service. But since I see that you purchased very recently, I was able to refund the full amount — so we can just skip the credit. You should see this reflected in your bank in a matter of days. Just setup billing in your account through 1Password.com to make sure it doesn't get frozen, and you'll be all set. ;)

Any time! You are most welcome! It sounds like you should be all set, but don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything else. We're here for you! :)
