1PW6 Last created Password?!
It happened to me repeatedly now that I lost a new password created via password generator and had to go through all the messy password reset of a site/shop/forum. Why:
Usually when you set-up a new account/credentials on a new website/online-shop/forum you have to insert a username and a password in a mask which is not the later used log-in mask ie is at a slightly different site address. Therefore it doesn't make sense to store the new credentials via the 1PW6 pop-up menu because this is not the place where you later on will need to sign-in - otherwise it would safe the wrong site address. What I therefore usually did (1PW4) was restarting the site go to the actual log-in place, insert username (usually simply my email address) and then retrieve the new password from the "last created password" function and only then store the login via the 1PW pop-up. In 1PW6 I could not find that "last created password" function?! So what I am usually doing in 1PW6 is pasting the new password from the clipboard. Quite often it happens that something else meanwhile had to be copied to the clipboard hence the new password is lost and I need to start all over again - pretty annoying.
1. Does 1PW6 have a "last created password" retrieval function as 1PW4 has and I simply did not find it yet?
2. If not, would you be able to suggest any sort of best practise or workaround this missing function? How do you guys most efficiently set-up credentials for a new web-site/shop/forum ecc. and safe the according log-in data-set (right site address, username, password)?

Sometimes, when you formulate a problem it can be already the solution. As a matter of fact I just found out myself the solution via that way. I had completely overseen that in the categories there is the Passwords section. In that I can sort after "Date created" and can quickly find the last password created and any other created ever before. Done. pawo

I'm glad you got it figured out by sorting the Passwords category by date. That is currently our recommendation but not for long.
We do plan to add the password history to 1Password mini that will show you all of the passwords you've generated on the site you're on and sorted by date as well. This will improve on the Last created password because last created password can be simply replaced with another password you generated elsewhere whereas the password history shows you a consistent list of passwords filtered to the site you're on.
