force 1pass to use Chrome not Edge

using the latest 1 pass with Chrome ext'n; my on-browser 1pass and my on-taskbar 1pass go to diff browsers; one to Edge, one to Chrome - even for the same login like Amazon; doesn't seem to matter that I've added a log in while using one browser or another; in other words how do I force 1 pass to use Chrome?

Which version of 1Password? In the 1Password 4 main application you can set the default browser to use, and optionally open any entry in an alternative browser.

@bobbol: Indeed, it sounds like you may be using the new 1Password 6 Windows desktop app. This opens URLs based on the system default browser you've set in Windows, but we plan on adding more flexibility in the future as we add features.
