authentication error, please sign in again

Every time I unlock my 1password I get the message "authentication error, please sign in again" if I click on the error to sign in I find that my vault name in the address is always spelt wrong by 1 letter. However, if I close the error and ignore it seems to work fine. How do I rectify this? I have tried removing the vault and signing back in but this hasn't help at all.
