Chrome Extension 6.3.359d - how to set option to open windows in new tab

Hello,
I do not see any option on the Chrome Extension to set it up so that windows open in new tab to sign in.
Also even though the checkbox to - Automatically Sign inafter filling usernames and password is enabled, it never actually does that?

    This is not yet implemented, it is coming in a future update.

    Also even though the checkbox to - Automatically Sign inafter filling usernames and password is enabled, it never actually does that?

    This will be fixed in tomorrow's 1Password 6.4 update. It works fine in Firefox but not Chrome.

    Any status update on the opening in new tab situation? 1PW 4 had this and it makes a significant difference to my user experience.
