1Password not opening after upgrade to 6.4 on Windows 10
Immediately after upgrading from 6.3* to 6.4* I got a "1Password for Windows desktop has stopped working" error. I uninstalled and reinstalled from Agilebits website. Same error.
Looking at event log I see

I checked and made sure that my .NET framework was latest version. Same errors.
Thank you for any help given.
Cheers

Used the installer repair tool. Same error. Did a windows SFC that produced some unfixable errors, so maybe I need to do a fresh reinstall of windows. /shrug.

@cehaut do you see 1password.json file in %localappdata%\1password\app\6 folder? This is one of the static configuration files that must have been deployed along with the app itself and for some reason system can't find it.

Yes the file is there.

I think I figured what could be the case, does your user name contain ' or space characters? Can you please uninstall app, then run installer again and install into C:\1password folder instead? We are going to test if these characters can confuse system.

Same error message when I run the installer

If it doesn't, can you email us at support+windows@agilebits.com with the link to this thread, we'd like to collect more information on why it is happening.
Thanks!
