Is Native Messaging support planned for the firefox extension in the future? [Yes]

Firefox Webextensions support Native Messaging in much the same manner as Chrome Webextensions. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/WebExtensions/Native_messaging

In the future can we expect the Firefox to support the new messaging protocol as well?
