Problem using 1Password 4 and 1Password 6 side by side
Hi all,
as I have to use a writable Dropbox Vault from time to time on my machine, I have 1Password 4 and 6 installed in parallel. So far they were both usable, i.e. when I wanted to use one, I killed the helper app from the other. But now only 1Password 6 is working. I have already configured it to not start with Windows and to not register itself as a helper. Even then, when I click the extension in Chrome, it only brings up 1Password 6. I already tried restarting the 1Password 4 helper, but it didn't help (no pun intended).

@Manaburner please visit Gear > Options > Advanced in 1Password 6, there is "Enable Native Messaging in Chrome" checkbox. We use new technology in 1Password 6 to talk to browsers, when it's available browser extension will prefer native messaging over old web sockets and 1Password 4. After turning off, you will have to either restart browser or enable/disable extension, for it to switch to web sockets and talk to 1Password 4. Hope that helps :)
