Enable Encrypting File System (EFS) : What for?

in 1Password 4 for Windows

in 1PW Win Desktop i find under "Advace" the Option: "Enable Encrypting File System (EFS)"
I do not understand the Note explanation.
What is this for and should I klick the box?

    Thanks for writing in.

    EFS is a security feature from Windows to encrypt your files on the local drive using your Windows account credentials.

    With this feature enabled, 1Password can inform Windows to encrypt all of your document files when you save it to your drive (outside of 1Password). The problem with this is that you must be careful to back up your Windows encryption key if you are moving the said encrypted files to another computer, it cannot decrypt it without you importing the previous Windows encryption keys.

    BitLocker would be a better option if you need encryption of your files on the drive, it will encrypt the entire disk for you.

    Just to be clear, your 1Password database is already fully encrypted at risk, this is specific to the attachments that you extract and save to your local drive outside of 1Password.
