My Mac doesn't give the option under 1PW-Preferences-General, "Always keep 1PW mini running".
Trying to get my 1PW to stay on when I click on the login name, instead of shutting down the app like it's been doing on most login names. I was trying to troubleshoot the shutting down problem which is why I was looking for the option, "Always keep 1PW mini running." Located under Preferences- General. The option wasn't there.

is there even a 1PW mini in version 3.x?
There is a Legacy section in this forum for that old version, maybe a moderator can move your thread there or you create a new one.

Its not entirely clear from the information you included in your post, but it sounds like you're trying to use 1Password 3 on a more recent operating system than the one it was written for. There are a number of issues with that particular configuration. Your best bet is going to be to upgrade to 1Password 6.
