Can not backup 1password vault

in 1Password 4 for Windows

Every single time I unlock my PC, the app would announce that it can not backup my 1password. I have tried relocating the keychain to dropbox and to a new drive. None fix the issue. I have recently moved most of my document on pc to a server and delete the original folder.

    @phissith: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the confusion! Dropbox is not a backup; it's a sync service. 1Password will, by default, save backup copies of your vault in the following location:

    C:\Users\(username)\Documents\1Password\Backups\

    If that has been deleted or the permission have been changed so that 1Password cannot write to it, you'll get an error like the one you describe. You can always go to 1Password Preferences > Backups and change the target location too if you like. Let me know what you find!

    I have tried that and it still giving me the same message. I even put it in the D drive which is not my main drive and directed it there still getting the same message.

    Can you email us your 1Password diagnostics report, it may tell us what directory it is trying to back up to. Please use this guide to generate the report and email it to us at support+windows@agilebits.com. Also, in the email, include the link to this thread along with your forum username, so that we can connect the email to this thread.
