mini on windows
How about a "stay on top" setting for mini? I often open it, search for an account, then right-click copy username and paste into browser or somewhere. Then, the mini app disappears and i have to do the same for the password of said account.
Makes using the mini app more trouble than it's worth.

Hello @sublimelime,
You are right, it would be cool. :yum: Thank you for your suggestion! I will make sure to pass it along to our team, so we could an internal discussion about it. 1Password 6 for Windows is a young app, so it has some rough spots here and there. Please let us know if you notice anything else. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,

+1 on this... Annoying having to do it twice when 99% of the time I need to enter both the username and password of an account. Would be great to have it autofill on rightclick or something. Or like the auther of the topic said a "stay on top."

Totally. We don't have a way to do this like we do on macOS. Windows is just a very different beast. But we're exploring ways to make it easier to get to information quickly here as well. Cheers! :)

Rather than stays on top, I actually prefer if 1Password mini remembers my previous search. So, the second time I press Ctrl+Alt+\, no need to type in the search bar again.

@firstyuyu: It's something we tried briefly in 1Password for Mac, but I can't say for certain it will be returning, or brought to the Windows app. There are certainly some situations where it's nice to have a search remembered, but it can be incredibly annoying the rest of the time, due to having to manually clear it out each time. Definitely something we can consider though.

How about the search clears after a set amount of time.

@brenty I think you could make the implementation like this:
- When I press Ctrl+Alt+\ and 1Password Mini appears, put the focus/cursor into search bar.
- If there is any search text in the search bar (from my previous search), select it
- Therefore, if I want to search something else, simply start typing any letters on keyboard (or Backspace button if I want to show all items).
I think this is convenient enough since our fingers do not need to leave the keyboard

@sublimelime, @firstyuyu: Nice! They're definitely things we can consider. But the problem is that saving the search at all potentially breaks
Ctrl \
(since the search results are shown instead of logins for the site — or filling if there's only one). No matter what, if this is something we do, we want it to work well and be a consistent (and good) experience across platforms. Cheers! :)ref: OPM-1617
