Several times in the last couple of weeks I have come down in the morning and 1p is still logged in. I.e., auto-lock did not auto lock. It is set for 4 hours. No other programs were running last night, yet again woke up to an active 1p.

  • Hi @drgiebink,

Thanks for reporting this. Is your PC running with the Windows 10 Creators update or have you experienced this issue prior to Creators Update? We've saw a few reports after Creators Update was released but not before it. We haven't been able to reproduce it yet but we're still investigating it.

Also, is this a computer or a virtual machine? The reason I ask is that virtual machine do not sleep when you sleep it, they just get suspended and 1Password wouldn't see that the computer went to sleep; thus it doesn't lock because of that. However, timer should still be causing it to lock.

Yes, the computer is running the Creators Update and had no problems before this. (Though I never tied it specifically to that update, because it seemed intermittent ... but not seeming intermittent lately.)

And, no, not a virtual machine, but I don't put the computer to sleep. It simply sits idle, and I expect the autolock to lock 1password. The computer is a standalone in my home.

Happened again this morning, Monday, when I have not used the computer at all since early Sunday. This morning is my first use and 1p is still open. No other programs were running during that time, aside from a backup that runs every midnight.

Thanks very much for your help.
    David
