Auto fill does not work
A company has just updated their website. I can't autofill my login details
The old website still exists and autofill works on that one
I have tried saving the login details for the new website as a new login, but to no avail
Web url is: www.discovery.co.za
How do I resolve this?
Thanks in advance

Hi there @TimTDP,
Thank you for contacting us! :+1:
I went ahead and checked how 1Password 4 works on the website you've mentioned, www.discovery.co.za. I was able to make to fill my credentials on their website using Go & Fill or by pressing Ctrl + \ while on the website. Could you please specify, does your Login item for this website look like this?
What URL do you have there? Please let us know.
Thanks!

How does Go & Fill work?

@TimTDP: When you open a Login item via 1Password app or 1Password extension in the browser, 1Password goes to the specified website and fills your credentials.
If you are already on the website you want, you should press
Ctrl + \
and 1Password will fill your data. Please let me know if it helps. Thanks!

Nothing happens
Try https://new.discovery.co.za0 -
@TimTDP: You have to click the "Log In" link at the top there to open the login form. 1Password cannot click that for you. But once you do that, you can press
Ctrl \
to have 1Password fill your login. You might have better luck using this URL in your login item instead:https://new.discovery.co.za/portal/individual/login
I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)

I do click the "Log In" link at the top there to open the login form
With the "log in" form open, nothing happens if I:
1. press Ctrl \
2. click the 1Password button in my browser and select the log in.The discovery log in form remains blank, and closes

@TimTDP: Did you try the login form I suggested? I'm able to fill i neither case. Make sure you update 1Password and your browser if you haven't already since your original post, and restart Windows. Also, in many cases manually saving a new login for the site will allow 1Password to save additional information from the form to fill better. Just try these steps to save the login manually:
- Navigate to the website: https://new.discovery.co.za/portal/individual/login
- Enter your login credentials
- Click the 'keyhole' icon to bring up the extension
- Click the 'gear' icon for Settings
- Click Save New Login
- Give it a name and Save
- Close the webpage and select your new login from the extension to have 1Password Go & Fill
- Submit the form manually if you have autosumbit disabled
If you're still having trouble, be sure to let me know the browser version you're using.
