Any update on whether the Windows app is able to be installed without admin rights? No luck getting my IT department to let me install...

    @sharky: The new 1Password 6 Windows desktop has supported installation without admin rights for a while now (late last year?) It does request them (as this is used for advanced diagnostics when available), but you can simply click no and proceed with the installation anyway, and the app will be fully functional. Cheers! :)

    Well, you're half right... It installed, but won't run without the .NET framework, which requires admin rights to install. Sigh.

    Hi @sharky,

    Unfortunately, yes you do need admin rights for the main .NET framework. On Windows 10, it's already installed by default but not on older Windows versions.
