When does the vault get locked?
I just got a new PC so I went to reinstall 1Password and apparently everything is all different now and costs extra money. But, well, it's mostly better different (especially inasmuch as the browser menu doesn't pop up at the furthest possible point on the screen from the browser window), so ok I guess.
However, the old 1Password would lock the vault if the screensaver activated, and not otherwise. The new 1Password locks the vault... well, I've no idea when it locks the vault. It feels random. The system tray icon doesn't tell you if it's locked any more (which is a step backward), so there's no way of knowing when it happens.
The "Cog->Options->Security" page says "Lock when switching session", although I have no idea what a "session" is so that doesn't help much, and has a pull-down menu with a time in it, but with no text whatsoever to explain what that time has to do with anything.
How can I make it so 1Password does it's previous, sensible behaviour of locking on screensaver? (Actually, locking 10 seconds after the screensaver would be ideal, so if you're sitting at the computer when the screensaver activates and immediately hit a key to cancel it, the vault doesn't get pointlessly locked.)
(As an aside, the "Cog->Discussion Forums" menu item takes you to the Beta discussion forum, and as far as I'm aware I'm not using a Beta version.)

Hi @jribbens,
Thanks for writing in.
We will revise the settings for Auto-lock in a future update, we do agree it is a bit confusing. It is supposed to have a string Lock after computer is idle for [timer] minutes. I'm not sure why it is gone but I've filed a bug report to get that fixed.
1Password 6 locks the app after your computer has been idle (no keyboard/mouse usage) for a specific time period you set in 1Password 6's Security settings. The default is 10 minutes, which is what the timer is for under Auto-lock.
Lock when switching session is a separate option to lock when your Windows session changes such as going to sleep, locking (Win key + L), and remotely disconnected.

Yep, this will be fixed in a future update. Thanks for letting us know!
