    Hello @baltimore47,

Thank you for reaching out! I am sorry for the troubles with 1Password.

First of all, please make sure that you have installed 1Password 6 for Windows and signed in to your account there. 1Password extension in the browser will not work without the main program, so you will need to do that first.

If you install 1Password 6 for Windows, signed in to your account, and 1Password still doesn't work after that, please create a Diagnostics Report from your PC, where you have this issue:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports

Attach the Diagnostics Report to an email message addressed to support+windows@agilebits.com.

Please do not post your Diagnostic Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your report in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Suapport ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)

Thank you very much in advance! I will be looking forward to your reply.

    Cheers,
    Greg

OK, so I didn't have the program. I've now downloaded that. It now is asking me for my secret key to finish the PC installation.

Originally, (about a year ago) I bought the program from the Apple store and put it on my Mac. I just recently tried to start using it on my PC at work. I've asked numerous times for the license to be emailed but haven't seen it yet. I've checked my spam folder each time.

Also, is there a difference between the program from the Apple store and the one sold on your website? Does my purchase from the Apple store also cover using it on my PC?

    Hi @baltimore47,

Thank you for keeping me posted! That explains things. :)

1Password 6 for Windows is focused on our subscription-based 1Password accounts and does not support standalone licenses and local vaults. Since we no longer sell licenses for 1Password 4 for Windows, please send us a message to support+windows@agilebits.com and we will check what we can do for you in this situation.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Suapport ID number. Please post that number here so we can track down the report and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :) Thank you!

I will be looking forward to your email.

    Cheers,
    Greg

I still don't understand. What kind of account is the 1password that I purchased through the Apple store? Will the windows-based 1password be able to talk with the other ones on my Mac and PC?

@baltimore47: I am sorry for this ongoing confusion! :frown:

If you purchased 1Password in the Mac App Store on your Mac, you didn't get an account with our new service. What you have now is a standalone license for 1Password for Mac and it does not include a standalone version (1Password 4) of 1Password for Windows.

As I've mentioned above, we stopped selling standalone licenses for 1Password for Windows. The best way to use 1Password right now is with 1Password account (membership) and you can learn more about its benefits on our website: https://support.1password.com/why-account/

Please let me know if it clarifies the situation. Thank you!

    Cheers,
    Greg

So can you simply give me a phone number so I can talk to someone and get my questions answered once and for all. We've been going back and forth for 3 days now. I just want to be done with this. I don't want another three days of questions before I can move forward. Solving my issue with passwords is not what I need to be spending my time doing. I have two businesses to run and this is a major distraction. Please...a phone number and a human to talk to

We don't have a call center, so that isn't possible. Greg has answered your questions, and it looks like Megan was able to help you via email as well. If you have others please let us know. We're here for you. :)
