ChilkatCrypt2.dll regsvr32 problem when upgrading to 1Password-4.6.2.624.exe

I had 1Password-4.6.0.604.exe installed and got prompted to upgrade to .624.

The installer reported the error registering ChilkatCrypt2.dll.

I see multiple older posts about this but the solutions did not work for me.

Running the installer as administrator got the same issue. Trying to run regsvr32.exe got an error message.

Thanks for writing in.

That usually means there is another third party tool that is overriding the copy of ChilkatCrypt we store in Windows' system directory.
