Will Folders be supported in the Password Category in 1Password for Windows 6?

Hello - I just installed 6.6 and the Firefox browser extension on my Windows laptop, and discovered there are not categories for passwords. After a quick search here, I found a thread from last October.

Any update?

There is a big step forward since last October in 1Password 6.6. You can now view Favourites, All Vaults, Logins, Credit Cards, Identities, and Passwords in 1Password extension:

No, it is different. I should have used the term folders. :(

When creating a tag for logins (email, financial, work, etc.) they are placed in folders. I would like the ability to click the browser extension and view by folder, like 1Password 4.

Hey @Buzz69,

I hope you don't mind, I re-titled your post to clarify your question a little more to make it easier to find for others and have moved it into the Windows category as it is specific to the 1Password for Windows app.

From speaking with our Windows team here I've learned that there are no current plans to add folders to 1Password 6 in the same way as 1Password 4 had them. That said we do have some plans for tags which will hopefully provide the same functionality. Tags are available in the main 1Password 6 app as of today but aren't available in the 1Password Mini just yet.

Thanks for changing the title. :)

As long as it offers the same functionality that my image shows (1Password 4), that should suffice. The post that I referenced in my OP is from last October and mentioned a similar feature would be coming soon. Any idea when Tags will be available in the mini?

@Buzz69: Ah, thank you for clarification! I am sorry I didn't get it the first time. :)

We are working constantly to improve 1Password and we have updates for tags handling in mind, but we do not share any ETAs at this point. I hope for your understanding.
