Where is the old 1password view?
On the Mac-App and the old standalone version of 1password is a possibility to change the view of the app.
The standard view is (for me) very stupid - i don't have any informations about the datarecords or anything else.
When do we get the old (optional) view back?
Here is a screenshot of what i mean. This is the view i want to be back :)
Thanks in advance

Hello there @Maddeen,
Thank you for getting in touch! :+1:
I don't think that we are planning to bring Windows XP look to 1Password 6 for Windows, but we are constantly working on design and UI improvements there. Could you please specify what do you mean by "standard view" and "old view"? I am not sure I understand that part of your question. There is only one view in the current version of 1Password for Mac and it is similar to the one in 1Password 6 for Windows:
1Password for Mac:
1Password for Windows:
Thank you! Looking forward to your reply!
Cheers,

Difficult for me because english is not my native language. but i'll try.
Just at MS Outlook (this option called "reading area" - simple translated)
Standard is the same as 1password uses now .. reading area is on the left side.
But you can change it to "bottom" - to get an even more efficient and better overview at your logins. On Mac and in the old standalone version this option is still present. (see Screens)
As you can see - the efficent view can provide up to 30-40 Logins in an overview while your new view only provides up to 14 logins (based on my 22" screen) - thats not even the half of the "efficent view"More efficent view:
Your standard view:
Hopefully i have described it better for you.

@Maddeen: Ah, thank you for clarification! :+1:
I don't think that a grid view will make a comeback in 1Password 6 for Windows, but I will make sure to pass your suggestion along to our team for further consideration. We want to add more information density in the future updates, so hopefully you will like it. :) Please stay tuned.
If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know. Thank you!
Cheers,

Ohh that's sad .. I - and as i read many others - don't like your new company orientation
- Switching from lifetime licences to subscriptions
- No option for other cloud-services in the subscription
- Provide useless tags at import and dont provide solutions (sorry, but how long do you publish version 6 and still got no solution)
- deleting loved features like (thanks for the correct wording) GRID View, or password strenght overview ...
Just for your CEO - the customers are the ones who pay his crib with a pool and a six car garage .. i cant understand this ..
please develop FOR your customers - not against us.

Hi @Maddeen,
That isn't our new direction, it's just that 1Password 6 for Windows is a "new" program for us and it feels that way because we never implemented support for local vaults, licenses, password strength and more to this new codebase. However, we are happy to officially say that we'll be focusing on adding standalone vaults and licenses to 1Password 7 for Windows that is now in development. You can find out more here: https://blog.agilebits.com/2017/08/01/1password-6-7-for-windows-a-feature-buffet/
We are developing for our customers but it takes time to develop everything. We started with 1Password.com memberships only in 1Password 6 for Windows because there was no Windows app that supported it, 1Password 4 for Windows was supporting local vaults and licenses already. The goal was always to support local vaults/licenses after it and we wanted to do it in the first few months but it turns out it required more work then we originally expected. It is just now that we're able to start working on it.
We'll get it done, we just need more time, and we do apologize about this.
