1Password browser extension stops working after restarting browser
Hello,
I submitted a ticket last week with diagnostic data but I haven't received a reply - ticket is URU-11275-175.
In any case, the issue I am having is that when I install 1Password6 for the first time, it links with the browser just fine, but once I close the browser and open it up again, the 1Password icon is greyed out and it doesn't do anything when I click on it. I even went to the welcome page that supposedly looks for the helper and tries to link it, but it cannot find the 1Password app, even though it's running. I have to say that I'm running behind a Sophos corporate proxy but 1PW has access and connectivity just fine.
I did find many guides online to old topics in the AgileBits community but I believe they are outdated because I cannot find the 1PasswordHelper process or the .exe file anywhere to add it to the HKLM\Microsoft\Run registry to include it.
I've tried this with Chrome and Opera, but on both browsers the same issue happens; Install 1pw, works fine linking with browser. Restart browser and link is lost.
