can you explain why the extension now opens a tab instead of previous drop down list?.
I use win 10 and chrome. Formerly I had an icon extension that opened a drop down and now I have a tab open all the time. When I open google and click on the extension I am then redirected to the page that shows my secret information and asks for a password. After I enter it a tab opens and shows the vaults. It stays open until I close it. I am nervous that this is not secure. Is this what is supposed to happen? Sorry tried to find a thread to explain what it is supposed to be. Thank you (also use it on Iphones)

Hey @Gadget65! I think a bit of additional clarity may help here. It sounds to me like the 1Password extension in Chrome is opening 1Password.com and having you sign into the web app rather than displaying a list of your logins as before. Is that correct? If so, it does sound like something is going awry (though not a security problem, if I'm correct). Let me know if we're on the same page here and we'll see if we can work out what's going on. :chuffed:
