Minimzing/focusing 1password by task bar icon moves mouse around in 6.7.454?

Not sure if it was this version exactly that this started happening for me, but within the last one or two updates to the Windows application on my Windows 10 machine, minimizing or restoring 1password by clicking the task bar icon (e.g. toggling minimized/restored state using the task bar icon). When minimizing by clicking the icon, I can see my mouse cursor quickly flash at the top left corner of the screen and a mouse click is registered at the top left corner of the screen (I have placed my task bar at the top of the monitor, so this effectively opens the start menu every time I minimize 1password, which is not a big deal, but it is annoying). Clicking the icon to restore 1password from being minimized sometimes moves the cursor to the bottom of the task bar. Focusing the 1password window by clicking the icon when it is already restored also seems to consistently move the cursor to the bottom of the task bar.

I'm not sure if this is 1password related or if it's something else, but no other application on my computer does this, and 1password didn't used to exhibit this behaviour until only one or two version updates ago.

Any reason why 1password might be doing this? (Assuming it is 1password, and if it's not, why is only 1password doing this on my machine? What's different about 1password compared to other applications in terms of minimizing/restoring the window?)

Hey @acee! Thanks for taking the time to write this up! I had originally replied with a request for more info, but a (more observant) teammate pointed out to me this is actually a known issue and we're working on fixing it. :+1:

Definitely more of a pain with your taskbar at the top, so I apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can get it sorted out soon. :chuffed:

Thanks for the quick response @bundtkate! Neat to see that you were able to reproduce the issue too. I have sent a diagnostics report to the email you listed and got back the support ID number #JIT-12978-642.

  • Hey @acee! Thanks for sending those over! I actually ninja-edited my original reply as I found out shortly after I replied that my issue searching-fu left something to be desired and this is actually a known issue. I'm sorry! I thought I was fast enough! I'll still make sure to track down your diagnostics in case they can be of help to the team. Thanks again and my apologies for the backpedaling.
