I've tired to follow the directions but it doesn't update

Thanks for reporting this, I'm sorry to hear you're not able to update 1Password. Which directions did you try to follow? Did you try uninstalling the current version you have and downloading the latest version from our website here: https://1password.com/downloads/
Do you happen to know the current 1Password version? It sounds like you may have an old 1Password 6.3 or older version that cannot be updated to the newer 1Password 6.7 version.

Yep, that's an old build where updating to the latest version will not work, you must install the latest version manually as I've mentioned in the last reply. Uninstall the current 1Password program via Control Panel and download from our website here, https://1Password.com/downloads/ to install it.
