Forgot my master password

Yea, I'm another one who can't remember her master password. I need a total reset, but not sure how to go about it. Help please!

@nelsonda: We can't "reset" your Master Password. It was only ever known by you, and is required to destiny your data. There's just no way around that. The security of all 1Password users depends on that. However, please try the tips in this guide as they may help you gain access again:

If that doesn't help though, you will need to either restore from a backup, sync from another device, or simply start over. Please let me know how it turns out.

@gege_net: There is not. The Master Password can be whatever you want. There is no limit on length or composition. Only you will have any idea what it could be. :blush:
