1 Password Extension not working on Firefox 56.0.2, Windows 10

1 Password Extension not working on Windows 10 Firefox v56.0.2 64bit. It's greyed out. I had it installed previously and it was working fine. When I opened Firefox today, the 1 Password icon was missing from it's usual spot. . Downloaded the latest version from agile bits, installed it and now I have a greyed out 1 password icon and it does not work. I have 1 Password 4 for Windows installed v 4.6.2.626 which shows as no update available.
Why is this broken? When is it projected to be fixed?
Thanks

@Squeeky46: It sounds like you had an old extension installed originally, and don't have Native Messaging enabled. Turn that on in 1Password Help > Advanced, restart Firefox, and let me know if that helps. :)

Actually go to 1password --> Gear --> Option --> advanced --> and Tick Enable Native Messaging for FF

and restart FF. That did the trick for me.

@kylex: Thanks for chipping in! :+1:

That is a path for 1Password 6 for Windows. :) It seems that Squeeky is using 1Password 4, so it is different there. Hopefully, he will be all set after the instructions from Brenty.

    Cheers,
    Greg
