Cannot update yet to 6.8.488

Hi there,

1Password on Windows informed me of an available update to the software.
The link to the release notes was shown to be this url:
https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPW6

The list of fixes and improvements is quite long, that looks good I guess; you've done a lot of work.
Now I would like to get this update through the Windows software with the Settings -> Options -> Update -> "Update to 6.8.488" button.
However, when I press that, the 1Password process dies.
Windows Event Viewer shows this error message:

So I thought I would perhaps download the installer from the Download link the in release notes.
However, for me this unknown url doesn't boost confidence in its source:

Is that url valid?

Patiently staying at 6.7 for now and hope you can clarify these issues.

    Thanks for writing in.

    Yes, the HockeyApp URL is valid but we'll be getting rid of it in the near future. When you click on it, it will find the latest known stable or beta release based on your logged in HockeyApp account and return you the normal URL for download.

    If you click on it and you're not signed in to HockeyApp, it will return this URL: https://cache.agilebits.com/dist/1P/win6/1PasswordSetup-6.8.488.exe

    We use HockeyApp for our beta test program, so users that are signed in will be given the beta links.

    We'd love to hear what you think of 1Password 6.8 so far.

    I too was not able to update from within 6.7. Downloaded 6.8 manually and installed it that way.

    Thanks for letting us know.

    Can you email us your 1Password diagnostics report, we'd like to see if there's a different reason this happened. The error posted in the first post is not related to why it didn't work, it's something else.

    In 1Password, click on the Help Menu to generate the 1Password diagnostic report and email it to us at support+windows@agilebits.com. Also, in the email, include the link to this thread along with your forum username, so that we can connect the email to this thread.

    Let us know here when you've sent it, so we can confirm we got the email.
