    Hi @telephoneman,

    Thanks for writing in.

    Just to be clear, the settings in PAC are different from your entered settings?

    If 1Password detected a PAC is in use, it will pull the data and record it into your Proxy settings automatically. It'll update it each time the proxy changes.

    Oh well thats not really visible for me what happens... Maybe it should display that and offer to override the PAC config

  • Hi @telephoneman,

    If you enter the data manually in the Proxy settings, it would override any auto-detect settings. 1Password will not update anything if it has user-entered data.

    We'll look into adding a string that the proxy settings was auto-detected.

    @MikeT dont know if you remember but I tested a lot around with that proxy stuff when the 6.0 was in an early early beta status and we traced a lot together here to get it working.
    What I can say: With that PAC - it works finally no need for any further config, Config-File "hacking" etc. Thanks a lot guys!!

  • Hi @telephoneman,

    Yep, we do remember the pain you and others had to go through with this. We went through a lot of different things to make it work, something that Windows devs shouldn't have to do but hey, we got there.

    You can thank @neil_jordan as he is the lead on all things that is related to PAC and proxy, he spent a lot of fixing and testing it. I just help to test to make sure he didn't break anything. :+1: On behalf of the team, you're welcome.

    @neil_jordan thank you

  • Hi @telephoneman,

    I'm glad I could help to get this fully running. There are some improvements to be made, but we're in a good place right now. If you run into any issues, do let us know.

    Take care, and thanks for your help!
