how to upgrade to Password 6

I want to update from 1Password4 to Password6. I am using this product on my desktop (win10) and IPad en IPhone.
The information on your website is very confusing to me. You will understand that i dont want to lose my passwords.
Please can you provide me a list of the steps I have to do?

Version 6 isn't an update to Version 4 unless you're using a 1Password.com account. If you're planning on continuing to use standalone vaults you're going to want to wait for 1Password 7 to move forward.

@Gerardus: Indeed, 1Password 6 is part of a 1Password.com membership. However, you may want to consider that, since it gives you access to all of the apps, the web interface, and does away with license management and sync configuration altogether — you simply login to your account to authorize a device and access your data. But you can try it for free for 30 days to take advantage of all of its benefits.
