1Password will not connect to website.
I am trying to add a website, https://www.banjohangout.org/, to my 1Password list and it will not connect. If I type that same address into my Firefox brouser it works fine. What is going on?

@RexPerry: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the confusion! 1Password doesn't connect to websites at all, as it isn't w web browser, so I wonder if you could clarify the issue you're having. To be clear, I'm not able to get that website to load at all, so it's possible you're having the same problem as well.

I noticed that their website would not connect after i posted the question; sorry for that. However, yesterday it would connect via the browser. My issue is that I have tried to add the banjo hangout web address to my 1Password, along with the user name, password etc. just like I have done with over 50 other websites. Once I did all that (yesterday) and tried to connect it would not work. Perhaps it is some sort of problem with the Banjo Hangout site, I don't know. I just want to make sure that I am taking the correct steps.

Looks like that site is down right now. When it comes back, I will give it another try and if unsuccessful, I will get back to you. Thanks for your comments.

I am back to my original issue. I am trying to connect to the following website using 1Password6: https://www.banjohangout.org.
As of today that URL will work in my browser but for whatever reason it will not work with 1Password. With other sites I have set up 1Password by providing all of the necessary info in the required fields and it has worked fine. What is different about this one?0 -
@RexPerry: Okay. Able to load the website here too now, so that's something. ;)
I was able to save and fill a login there using 1Password. In many cases manually saving a new login for the site will allow 1Password to save additional information from the form to fill better. Just try these steps to save the login manually:
- Navigate to the website
- Enter your login credentials
- Click the 'keyhole' icon to bring up the extension
- Click the 'gear' icon for Settings
- Click Save New Login
- Give it a name and Save
- Close the webpage and select your new login from the extension to have 1Password Go & Fill
- Submit the form manually if you have autosubmit disabled
There's also another dedicated login page that may or may not work better for you:
https://www.banjohangout.org/login/
Either should work for you though. Let me know how it goes! :)

I have looked as best I can but cannot find any "keyhole" or "gear" icons. I know that sometimes they are hidden and that might be the problem. At any rate, I probably need to go back to the basics. I hate for you to waste your time.

For some reason or another the 1PW6 app had been removed. Once I re-established that app the website hooked up the way that is supposed to.
Thank you for your help.0 -
Hi there @RexPerry,
Please make sure that you have 1Password 6 app and 1Password extension in the browser installed at all times, as they won't work without each other. We are always here for you, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you ever bump into troubles with 1Password again. Thanks!
Have a wonderful week!
Cheers,
