Using 1Password Extension in Chrome under Windows 7 Caused Program to not release attention

After a recent upgrade in our local work computers mainly to the new Office suite, I am experiencing a weird issue: if the 1Password extension is installed in Chrome, the system will not give up attention to any other program. What I mean is that if I tab to another program, Chrome will immediately return to the screen or if I minimize the program, it will immediately pop back up. If I disable the extension, it works fine but once the extension is active, the behavior returns.

Needless to say this is annoying if only because 1Password is such an integral part of my work. Anybody else have this issue or any idea of a fix?

@R2Patterson: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble! It sounds like there's something stuck there from a previous version. Please try the following:

    1. Close your web browsers and 1Password
    2. Open Windows File Explorer and enter the following in the address bar: %LOCALAPPDATA%\AgileBits
    3. Move the OPX4.auth file to your desktop
    4. Restart 1Password, unlock and then open your browser, see if it works better now.

Let me know how it turns out!
