1Password Helper not being found after switch to 1Password 6.

I uninstalled 1Password4 and the browser extension. Installed 1Password 6 and it connects to my vault. I go to Settings > Browsers and the only option is the Install Browser Extension button, so I did that. I use Opera, and it installed the Opera extension. And then it can't find the Helper.

Thanks for writing in.

Can you try this: open the main 1Password 6 app, unlock, go to the 1Password Menu > Settings. In Settings, go to the Advanced tab and on the bottom, check the boxes next to Enable Native Messaging for Chrome (which Opera uses) and for Firefox as well.

After that, restart your web browser and 1Password should work in there now.

I had the Chrome one checked originally, but adding the FF one actually made it work. (??) Thanks!

Hi @Magess,

That's unusual, it sounds like maybe Chrome wasn't on but enabling Firefox made 1Password update both anyway. We'll investigate to make sure this is showing the right status.
