How do 1Password and perhaps extensions, generally, work with browser profiles?

I am looking to test Quantum but I need to create a new Firefox profile which by default has been using the default profile for some time now. How does 1Password work with a multiple profiles for Chrome and Firefox?

@wkleem: There have been issues with multiple profiles in the past, but those have been resolved as both the browsers themselves and our developers ironed out the kinks. So you should find that it works well for you. But we're here if you encounter any issues. :)
