1Password 7b - How to remove a tag?

For example, when I imported my data from v6 to v7b, I now have 2 very ugly tags:

  • 1Password 6 Import 3-28-18
  • 1pif-import-11/17/16 (this one has 2 sub-tags, "16", "17")

I would really like to remove the 2 sub-tags but there's no way I'm going to do it individually on the 1,054 items (527 in "16" and 527 in "17")...

  • Hi @AdrenalineX ,

As you probably have guessed, the / character is the separator for the new nested tags feature. You probably have a tag 1pif-import-11 that shows all of the items including the ones in the nested 16 and 17 tags.

You can select the 1pif-import-11 tag and then drag all of the items onto it. That'll apply that tag onto the items (even the nested ones). But it won't get rid of the nested tag.

We plan on fixing that in a future update. Thank you for reporting that, and we hope to have it fixed for you soon.

    Cheers,
    Kevin
