Copied columns not aligning in Notes
In my bank memorable info item I have my 16 letter password arranged as here:
1 2 3 4 5
A b c d e
6 7 8 9 10
f g h k m
11 12 13 14 15 16
3 4 5 6 7 8
However, no matter what way I arrange it (be it in TextEdit, Pages or Numbers) the alignment is completely lost when I insert it into the notes box in the Memorable info item. What's worse is that, because of the fact that the box is too small to accept all the letters and I can't scroll it (that problem I've written about in a prior post), I have misaligned numbers and words underneath and can't do anything about it to align them as they're not all visible in the note box. In this case the very last line.
I can, however, see all the information (although still badly misaligned) when I save the item, so nothing is lost. It just requires more effort to make sure I'm choosing the right letter or number to fill in when the bank asks for it each time I log in to it.
Edit : Having just posted this to the forum I see that, even though the numbers are aligned when I write the post, they're misaligned when the post enters the forum. That I don't understand either :-(

If you want to have any chance of text alignment, you'll need to use the pre-formatted text markdown, so that the font gets changed from a variable-spaced font to a mono-spaced font.

Many thanks. Would never have realised that was what was needed, even though I have been known to use Markdown.

Glad to hear MrC helped out here @rwakeford! :) We're here if you have some other questions.
