1Password 7 .pkg installer stuck on 2nd screen! No visible error. Screenshot and some logs included.
When trying to install the 1Password 7 beta...I get stuck on this screen: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hv8iqg7pjabkwi5/Screenshot 2018-04-02 21.32.24.png?raw=1
I assume that little warning icon is supposed to be telling me something about what the problem is?
The mac console logs don't seem to show anything. Is there somewhere else I should look for logs? I've included the installer logs (shown from pressing CMD-L) below but they don't seem very insightful. Perhaps the problem is I'm still running El Capitan? (10.11.6)
Would love some help! Also, I'd really like to take advantage of the $39.99 deal. I'm a long time 1Password user (where we loved you guys at Dropbox) and have already purchased 1Password 6. If there's a link where I can buy this, please let me know. Thanks!

While I appreciate you don't have exactly the same error, does anything in this thread help?

I can confirm I have the exact same issue as described above, running 10.11.6.

I'm also running 10.11.6!
So sounds like this isn't supposed to work in El Capitan, and rather the real bug is that I'm not seeing a proper error message?
For more context, I'm running "1Password-7.0.BETA-5.pkg". Here are screenshots of everything I see:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/icudefbhwa2r2k2/Screenshot 2018-04-03 11.42.39.png?raw=1
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fg17hpr90jrjo9d/Screenshot 2018-04-03 11.42.45.png?raw=1 (love that Dropbox is in this screenshot! Dropbox <3s 1P)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/nnhdsau4j3l23gr/Screenshot 2018-04-03 11.42.55.png?raw=1I did try manually extracting the "1Password 7.app" directly from the .pkg file, but of course, it refuses to run in 10.11. Though at least I get a very clear error message explaining why.
But I was able to snoop around things and figure out how to get the $39.99 deal on a 1Password 7 upgrade...despite not being able to run the app...if you'd like details on that let me know a private email to contact you at, but probably not a big deal. :-)

@varenc - OK, so two issues:
So sounds like this isn't supposed to work in El Capitan, and rather the real bug is that I'm not seeing a proper error message?
I think you're right. The installer should be disallowing you to even get that far. I'll file a bug report on it.
I was able to snoop around things and figure out how to get the $39.99 deal on a 1Password 7 upgrade...despite not being able to run the app.
Not sure why you'd want to blow $40 on something you can't use, unless you know you're planning to upgrade to at least Sierra in the not-too-distant future, but my off-the-cuff take on it is: if you're that industrious and committed, you're welcome to the discount. 😊Enjoy!

thanks for the reply! I'll definitely be upgrading as soon as I can confirm some things won't break, and I'm planning on a long long life as a 1Password user! =)
