Earlier today I installed 1Password 7.0 Beta-5 (macOS 10.13.4).

What should I do with my previously installed 1P 6.8.8?

Thank you,

David

The simple answer is "Make sure you're not running both at the same time". That means, if you wish to run 1Password 7 make sure you exit 1Password 6 and its accompanying 1Password mini by closing 1Password 6 completely by using ⌃⌘Q (ctrl + cmd + q). (if you need to run 1Password 6 again you can completely close 1Password 7 and the 1Password 7 mini by closing 1Password 7 using ⌃⌥⌘Q (ctrl + alt + cmd + q).)

In my case once I'd installed 1Password 7 I simply dragged the app file for 1Password 6 to the trash. (Note: it's best to avoid using an app cleaner when you do that in case it enthusiastically deletes files you need to retain.)

    Stephen,

Thank you -- I dragged 6 to the trash and that seems to be that.
