Vulnerability Alert bar not always showing

Steps to produce

  1. Have some vulnerabilities listed in the Security Audit
  2. Deselect any logins, so the right pane is showing the empty state
  3. Click on a vulnerability with a login

(The same steps work for clicking on an item in any view, but using the Security Audit screen makes it easier to identify an appropriate record.)

Expected behavior

The right pane populates with the red Vulnerability Alert banner

Actual behavior

The Vulnerability Alert banner does not appear.

It does appear if you navigate to the item from another selection, so it seems to be something specific to the empty selection case

@Jablair - thanks for reporting! I can confirm the issue you're having. Switching the sort order returns the banner, so it sounds as if there's just a step missing here. I've filed an issue for it. Fortunately, if you're already in Security Audit, you (presumably) know that your items there are indeed flagged, so the absence of the banner hopefully won't throw anyone too badly until we can get this addressed.
