1PW 7 never asked me what vault to use and won't accept Master Password
I have two Windows 10 PCs running 1Password 4, using a vault synced with Dropbox.
I installed the 7.0.532 Beta on one of the PCs. After it installed, it asked me what vault to use and what the master password is, it converted my vault from Agile Keychain to OPVault, and then it showed all my items - no problem at all.
I installed the same beta on the other PC. After it installed, it immediately displayed a 1Password lock window with an "Enter your Master Password" field. It's not accepting my master password (it shows a red ring and a wiggling keyhole for a moment). It never asked me what vault to use. It has "1Password" and "Help" menus, and under "1Password", the "Open vault on this PC..." item is greyed out. What's going on, and how do I get it to work on both PCs?

I'm going to try the instructions in https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/88276/install-1password-7-windows-stand-alone-version, because I once briefly had 1Password 6 installed on the second PC. Maybe it's trying to use my old vault from that, with my old master password.

Yup, renaming "%LOCALAPPDATA%\1Password\data" to "backup-data" did the trick! Thank you for the help! :)
