1P b7 - Safari shortcut
Within Safari, up until 1Password b6 typing "⌘\" would bring up the 1P fill dialogue box. Whether it would work or not is a different matter. But with b7 typing "⌘\" just brings up the Safari preferences box - as does "⌘,". I re-started Safari after installing 1Pb7 but that made no difference. Within Safari preferences, "⌘," is still showing as "Preferences".

Open and fill is not yet implemented in the new Safari extension: see this AgileBits' post.

Stephen - yes, I know that but even so, with b7 the behaviour of "⌘\" is different. That is all.

Hi @hafm,
Odd. When ⌘\ displays Safari's preferences is it already set to the Extensions tab by any chance? There is a scenario where if Safari is the active application and the user has used one of the keyboard shortcuts and 1Password does not have a connection to the new extension then it opens the preferences in the belief that the new extension needs to be enabled.
That begs the question of why does 1Password think the new extension may not be enabled.
- Is the extension showing as enabled in Safari and displaying the button in the Safari toolbar?
- Does clicking the 1Password Browser Extension button in the Safari toolbar result in the 1Password mini menu displaying?
- Does the keyboard shortcut work after this if 1Password mini correctly displayed after 1.?
