I wanted to know if the license for 1Password 7 that is on offer is valid for life or is annual.

For stand alone versions of 1Password (as opposed to the subscription version) the licence is traditionally valid for all minor upgrades of a major version but you have to pay again on release of the next major version. Just by way of example, 7.0.5, 7.1, 7.3, etc. are normally free but you'd have to pay again when 8.0 is released.

By the way, I'm merely an ordinary user here so can't speak for AgileBits. However, I have used 1Password for many years and that's how it's worked previously.
