Firefox shortcut first time launches 1P system not FF helper

Hit command-\.
1P from the system menu shows, including suggesting that I install the FF extension (which is installed, and has been repeatedly reinstalled just in case)
Hit command-\ again
1P helper in FF opens

@huffalumpy: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble! Can you tell me which version of Firefox you're using? I'm not seeing that here, but there may be something else involved.

- Remove the 1Password extension from Firefox
- Drag Firefox to the Trash
- Do a spotlight search for "1password" and drag any copies of 1Password to the Trash
- Restart your Mac
- Install a fresh copy of Firefox: https://firefox.com
- Install a fresh copy of 1Password beta: https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPM7
- Install the 1Password extension: https://agilebits.com/onepassword/extensions
