Using the same password for subdomains

Hello.

Is it possible to use only 1 1Password entry for multiple (sub)domains ? (I don't want to create 3 entries for each of them, since those are using the same login credential.)

https://www.rakuten.co.jp/myrakuten/login.html

https://grp02.id.rakuten.co.jp/rms/nid/login
https://order.step.rakuten.co.jp/rms/mall/basket/vc

For example, if I have following URL in 1P, "Fill and Submit" doesn't suggest credential when I visit other URLs above.

https://www.rakuten.co.jp/

I'm using 1Password for Mac 3.8.6 on Chrome 14.0.835.186.

Hey there, Seiji! Welcome to the forums! :)

I am sorry that you have had to wait so long. This is actually a known issue involving country code TLDs, rather than a problem with the subdomains (as it would first appear). We are currently working on a fix. In the mean time, you can use Go & Fill to have 1Password take you to the saved URL, in which case the Login item will match the site and 1Password will log you in. Just double-click it in the main 1Password application, or open the extension window and type a few letters to narrow the search for it and hit Return.

I apologize for the inconvenience. We hope to have this fixed soon in an update.
  • Thanks, brenty.

Yea, I noticed another thread about this issue right after I created this thread. Thanks for your information. I'll wait for a fix.

No worries! While it is sort of the same issue, it is definitely applicable to different situations. Thanks for your patience and understanding. :)
