Passwords are being overwritten with older versions!
This is getting ridiculous. I've updated my password via the 1pass desktop application on my Win10 computer, after changing it. Then when trying to log in on my phone it shows the old password. I go to check the applications to try to sync it up, and it SHOWS THE OLD PASSWORD. I've opened a support case but have had no response. So then I go through the web to update and go through the whole process of resetting my bank account password. I go to update on my phone and it shows the old password. I go to web and it's THE OLD PASSWORD!! What in the hell is going on?

@dfontaine: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble! Unfortunately without some basic information you've omitted from your post it's hard to say what might be going wrong and how we might right it! Please tell me the OS, 1Password, and device versions you're using, the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect so we can figure out the best plan of action:
Find your version
The more information you can give, the better. For instance, it sounds like you're maybe using a 1Password.com account. Is that correct? Any other details about where you're making changes would be helpful as well. Thanks in advance! :)

Desktop app is 7.0.558.
First attempt: Hit edit on application, use generator and create new password. Then Save entry. Copy password to change password field in browser.
Next day: Get notification on my phone that I need to update password in financial app (oops) Ok cool no problem. Password is wrong, verify old password in Android app (6.8). Old password, check web, old password, check app that I updated to begin with, old password.
Reset password through bank via "forgot password" and decide to use web instead of app because maybe there is a bug that it downloads from web in one direction at the time? Maybe? No idea.
Go to website, hit edit, generate, save. Copy and paste into reset password boxes. Then submit ticket for possible bug.
Forgot about app, next day, get same notification. Enter new password, fails, check password, happens to be original password as if the last two days didn't exist. Check web, same old password.
Now I've reset for a third time. It seems to have stuck. Have updated the app as well. Verified the password on all three apps.
Now the only difference I have noticed is that the password was reset from the browser (on the bank site) this time as opposed to the mobile app. When the update password pops up on the app, I select deny for fear of it accidentally taking the temp code they provide instead of the actual password. On the browser I selected update because it was the only field on the page.
I would not think this deny would have affected it because once the apps sync, I would ASSUME that it takes whichever password has the most recent time stamp and apply it to the rest of the portals. In this case it did not.
Also I apologize for my language in previous post. Am understandably irritated as this is my bank account and these types of accounts are generally more of a pain than normal sites to reset your login info.

@dfontaine: No worries. That does sound like a pain. I appreciate the details! But frankly, based on your description, I think this may be a website-specific issue. I'd love to know the URL so I can test it. This may sound silly, but are you certain the password you're setting for the site is valid? I've run into issues with some sites where account creation or password change forms accept the password I give them, but the login form does not. Most often this happens because the website only accepts X characters. 1Password will dutifully fill the password even if it's more than that, so that not only results in login failure, but is incredibly difficult to figure out what's going on if you haven't encountered that before. I'd try entering the password manually, and noting the number of characters the field accepts. Let me know what you find.

I don't have the full URL but it's the forgot password URL for Chase.com.
Also, yes, I verified that the password is accepted but this isn't the point. All editing was done within 1password completely independent from the site. When I updated on the desktop app and saved. It re-downloaded the old password instead of uploading to sync. When I edited the password on the 1password site, logged in, it ended up taking the old password again from one of the apps.

@dfontaine: Can you elaborate? I'm not sure what you mean here. What's downloading? I still have no idea what version of 1Password you're using, or if you're using a 1Password.com membership or not. There isn't much I can do but speculate without more information. I'd really like to be able to actually test it myself.
It sounds like maybe you're using the 1Password.com web interface to edit the login. Are you saying that the password there does not save correctly? Are you not seeing the correct password there after editing? You should still be able to view the previous versions of that item using the item history feature:
View and restore previous versions of items
Let me know what you find.

@dfontaine please send us a Diagnostics Report from your Windows app (menu Help > Generate Diagnostics Report) and Android app. It will help us to understand what exactly needs to be fixed. Thank you!

I still have no idea what version of 1Password you're using,
I mentioned the versions in my second post "Desktop app is 7.0.558.... in Android app (6.8)."
...if you're using a 1Password.com membership or not.
I have a family account.
Are you saying that the password there does not save correctly?
Yes.
Attempt 1: Edit in Windows Desktop Application. Save Password. It then downloads the OLD password from the site and replaces the new password (instead of updating the site with the new password).
Attempt 2: Edit in WEB app. Save Password. It then goes back to the OLD password (instead of syncing to the apps, it syncs FROM the apps, which have the first password still).
Attempt 3: Seems to have worked this time. All apps now show the new password. Don't know if there was some sort of glitch this weekend or what.
You should still be able to view the previous versions of that item using the item history feature
Oh... that would have been very helpful before I went and ran my big mouth lol.
@SergeyTheAgile is there an email I can send this to or PM you? Don't feel comfortable having my hash up here for all to see.
