Can't open 1password for Windows 7

in 1Password 7 for Windows

I'm totally frustrated right now. I just bought a license for 1password 7 Windows and i can't open the vault as its asking for a password. I was using 1password 4 and apparently still have to.

  1. I had 1password 4 on my system.
  2. I installed 1password 7.
  3. Bought the license. 1password 7 recognize it.
  4. Uninstall 1password 4
  5. Still can't access 1password 7 vault.

Odd thing is I bought it for the Mac as well and its working fine. I'm able to see access my fault but for windows, totally a different situation.

    @etime: You'll definitely need to enter the correct Master Password in order to be able to proceed on any device...but did you perhaps use 1Password 6 on Windows previously at some point, and simply have its data around still? That could certainly have a different Master Password than what you'd been using in 1Password 4. If you have your data in the vault you've been using in 1Password 4 still, you can simply reset the app to start over and set it up with that vault instead. I hope this helps.
