Chrome extension just opens the website?

I'm trying to migrate from version 4 of the app to the latest version. I uninstalled the app and chrome extension and then installed the newest versions and created a 1password account. I am able to see everything in the 1password application. However, the Chrome extension doesn't do anything except bring up the website. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser extension but get the same behavior.

I had "TrueKey" installed but have turned that off and get the same issue.

  • @Greg_R: This means the extension hasn't successfully connected to the app. I know this is an annoying troubleshooting step, but I'd really recommend a reboot first. 1Password 4 and 1Password 7 don't play nice together, so depending on what order you uninstalled, reinstalled and opened browsers in, some lingering effects from 4 could be causing 7 some trouble and a reboot will resolve any of that. If you're still having trouble after, double check that Chrome is up-to-date, restart your browser. If still no joy, let us know. Thanks! :chuffed:
