Start 1Password with Windows, but minimised?

I've selected the option to start 1Password when I sign in to Windows, which works just fine.
Is there a way to have 1Password start minimised? I get the full 1Password window with master password prompt.
Thank you

  • @453mm: That actually should be the default behavior. When I boot up my PC, I'll see 1Password briefly while it's registering my keyboard shortcuts, but it quickly minimizes to tray after. That said, 1Password does remember its last-used state, so it may be we're being a bit too good at remembering here. Do you generally shut down your PC with the main app open? If you click the X to minimize 1Password to tray before rebooting, does it still show the full window when you sign in to Windows?

Hi @bundtkate and thanks for responding. Generally when I shut down the PC the main app is running (I set it to start when I log in) but minimised to tray. When I boot up, the main window appears and stays there.

  • Hi @453mm,

Do you have Edge as the default browser by any chance?
