1Password 7 for Windows Flashes Its Window at Windows Login
In April 2018, Greg in Agile Bits Support acknowledged a bug in 1Password 6 for Windows (see below), and indicated that would be fixed in a future update. I am currently using the latest version 7.1.567, and that bug is still there. When will it be fixed?
Is there a way to have 1Password load at Windows login without flashing its window on the screen?

This is a regression bug that was introduced in the latest version of 1Password 6. Sorry about that. We have plans to fix this behaviour in one of the future updates, so please stay tuned.

Hi @solsd,
Thanks for writing in. We do not have a timeframe on this. To work around this, we have to do a few other changes first, which is being worked on first.
The reason we have to do this flash is to make sure shortcuts work in 1Password. Before we remove this flash, we need to rework how shortcuts are registered with Windows. This is closer to the top of our list but it is not being worked on yet.

Thanks for your response. Would you explain what specific shortcuts you are referring to being registered with Windows?

Any global keyboard shortcuts (locking, filling, mini) need to be registered with the OS. Otherwise they would only work when 1Password is the frontmost/focused application (e.g.
Ctrl N
for New Item).0
